This rosé is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Pais, the indigenous grape of Chile. This is from Maule, in the dry coastal area of Mingre, 45 km from the ocean and granitic soils around 200 m. After a cool maceration, this fermented and spent time in stainless to preserve fresh, crisp, marine influenced fruit. Tight raspberry, white cherry is infiltrated with dried herbs and tightened with grapefruit pith, adding a nice slick of grip to this dry, fresh rosé, kissed with raspberries on the end. Lovely choice for food, a welcome show of less-is-more and great value.
