This wine is so typical of Ribera del Duero: warm, earthy black fruits, leather, crushed florals, broken stones, dark cocoa, baking spice. Though you feel the structure of the wood, it doesn't overwhelm the fruit of this youthful wine. Estate Tempranillo from Pesquera and Sotillo aged 6 months in 50/50 American/French oak. Energy plus structure plus drinkability = winning combination.
