A long time favourite and despite the solar vintage, the 2017 does not disappoint. While the wine is full-bodied and rich, the bright notes of rhubarb, wild strawberries and orange peel gives freshness to a wine that is rather low in acid. Definitely meant to enjoy with food. Steak tartare is just perfect to make La Dame Rousse sing.
