Bordeaux meets the South of France in this Cab Sauv/Syrah/Grenache blend. Medium-deep garnet. Nose of violets and strawberry jam, with a bit of cumin and leather. Medium-bodied, tastes of remarkably fresh red berries. Acids and tannins are still prominent; this will last another couple of years. A good match for a marinated leg of lamb roasted with Middle-Eastern spices, dates and almonds.
