This Langhorne Creek red is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Dark and smoothed on the palate, with layers of cedar, pipe tobacco, black cherry, cracked clove and cinnamon. Tannins are softened, but carry an edge that cuts the ripeness. Bottled without filtration, this is a solid red for skirt steak or sausages.
