Ham Hocks and Lima Beans
1 pound dried lima beans* 4 ham hocks -- halved 2 bay leaves 1 onion -- chopped 1 bell pepper -- chopped 2 cups chopped tomatoes 1 cup tomato sauce 1 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 1/2 teaspoon papper salt -- to taste *soaked overnight and drained Place beans in bottom of crock pot and add remain ing ingredients with 1 1/2 quarts of water.
