Bronze colour with a bouquet of toffee, dried peaches and grilled cashews; medium-bodied and sweet but finishes dry with a long nutty, dried fruit flavours.
Pale yellow, small CO2 bubbles. Minerally nose, peach/pear with floral notes. You first feel the delicate acidity, but it has more weight in the middle palate and through the finish. Ripe fruity taste, distinctive flavour. Ready to drink and over the next few years.
Dark cherry, plum, a dash of spice and green herb on the nose. Almost New World style sweet ripe fruit flavours are just short of jamminess. Finishes with cherry and chocolate notes.
Dark fruit shows good depth with spicy cinnamon and a trace of clove. More ripeness than is usual for Barbera with dark plum and bitter cherry fruit, brisk acidity, smooth mouthfeel and a satisfyingly long finish.
Deep cherry red. Red and black fruits, a touch of iodine and some oak notes. Full in the mouth, nice fruit, the tannins are firm but show some tenderness. Good balance leading to a very nice, round finish. Drinks perfectly well now.
A blend of Negroamaro, Primitivo and Cabernet Sauvignon showing warmly developed ripe plum and dark berry fruit with a pinch of cinnamon and clove. Mediterranean-style fruit compote on the palate is disciplined by firm structure, stony mineral and balancing acidity.
It’s deep ruby-purple in colour with an expressive bouquet of blackcurrants, toasty oak and herbs with a floral grace note. It’s full and generous on the palate, well structured with nicely integrated oak.
