Aromas and flavours of apple with a hint of peach and notes of bitter almond. Full bodied and fresh with a wonderful richness on the palate and a long and lingering finish. Tastes great now, but will develop more character over the next 3 to 5 years. One of Marche’s star wineries.
The nose is still somewhat closed but does reveal typical cherry and dark plum character. More forward on the palate, though, with a generous mouthful of powerfully concentrated yet refined dark fruit, fine spice and Baker’s Chocolate. Well-balanced, solid tannic structure and long harmonious finish.
A bargain Barbaresco from a great vintage. Ruby colour, a nose of vanilla oak, dried cherries, graphite and minerals. Medium bodied, dry, great extract and balance with a lovely velvety mouthfeel.
Richly plum scented, with spicy and green herbal notes and bold, ripe flavours. Full-bodied, with solid structure, good overall balance, well integrated fruit, spice and a little dark chocolate on the finish. A solid example of new wave Puglia quality.
Straw yellow. Ripe white fruits (pear, apricot), slightly floral, touches of honey and spices (ginger, cinnamon). Balanced acidity, soft and full texture, pleasant fruity taste. More ripeness in the long finish. Made from the little-known pecorino grape, this is a nice discovery.
Gorgeous and well crafted, with berry, cherry and mint aromas and flavours, medium-bodied, with fine silky tannins and a fruit-driven finish. The perfect Tuesday night pizza wine. A great value.
Dark pink. Intense, fruity nose (strawberry, watermelon). With more body than most rosés, it has a balanced acidity. Dry but ripe enough to taste almost slightly sweet. Equally good as an aperitif or with simple dishes.
