An homage to the traditional top-fermented beer of Cologne, this slightly hazy blond brew has a lightly frothy, persistent head with soft nutty and yeasty aromas. Lightly sweet fruity malt on the medium-weight palate, finishing with an attractive hit of bitterness.
Aged on lees, it exhibits a copper colour with an amber rim. A subtle nose of dark caramel, toasted malt and a touch of coriander will hit your nose, followed by a powerful wet-cereal aroma as it warms up in the glass. It has a rich taste and a velvety texture. The finish is slightly bitter and has a very good length.
Light brown, hazy from the bottle fermentation. This strong beer exhumes aromas of apricot, yeasts, coriander and a strong floral (lilac) note develops in the glass. Dense, full, it has a powerful mouthfeel but manages to remain fresh on the palate.
This white beer has an inviting and fresh nose of yeasts, a touch of coriander and a delicate lemony flavour. Without any bitterness, it has a light taste and each gulp is an invitation to take one more.
This fruit-flavoured wheat beer is refermented in the bottle; its yellowish/light brown colour has the characteristic hazyness. Aromas of yeasts, apricot, pear show up first followed by an intriguing ripe banana note as it warms up in the glass. Easy to drink, it has just enough acidity to keep it refreshing. Overall a light and fruity beer.
Dark yellow with amber tint. Heavily malted nose with aromas of salted dark caramel and spices. Full bodied, intense taste of torrefied malt and hops. There is a nice bitterness in the aftertaste. A creation of "Les 2 Frères" microbrewery.
Amber tint. Hops dominate in the otherwise strongly malted nose. More toasted notes appear in the mouth with a mildly bitter aftertaste of good length. This is brewed under license by "Les 2 Frères" in Terrebonne, a good source of strongly flavoured beers.
