Deep, dark and rich with aromas and flavours of black berry, blueberry, mocha, liquorice and mint with great complexity, multi-layers, velvety tannins, a silky texture and a long, rich, fresh finish. Each taste begs another. Great quality and complexity at this price point and comparable to Aussie Cabs significantly higher in price.
Tons going on in this very young, but hard-not-to-drink-now, rich, elegant, muscular, complex, delicious wine. Loads of ripe black berry, black cherry, wild berry fruit with mocha, fresh herbs and a touch of forest floor. Great structure, but ultra-fine tannins; the wine shows something new with every taste and continues to evolve the longer it’s in the glass. If you can, forget about this in your cellar and let time do its thing. Definitely something special. Only 1200 bottles produced.
Fresh and lively with aromas and flavours of melon, mango, guava and gooseberry; crisp mouthfeel and absent of any grassiness. Well-made and a great value. A nice match with poached Arctic char or shellfish.
Great balance with aromas of baked apple, peach and fig with a pleasant toastiness. Excellent leesy mouthfeel with an adept use of French oak that adds complexity and structure without overwhelming the delicious fresh fruit. Elegant and refined with a beautiful lifted finish. Ideal with rabbit, pork and poultry, and may even stand up to a nicely grilled steak.
Dense and dark with lots of intense flavour, but still elegant, with blackberry, black cherry, spice and a distinctive note of floral peach from the Viognier. Finishes with liquorice and pepper that lasts and lasts against vibrant acidity and fine tannins.
Ripe berry and piquant blackcurrant with hints of spice on the nose yield to blackberry and blackcurrant flavours in the mouth, supported by supple tannins and good acid balance. Just enough tannic grip to make a well-balanced wine.
Shows mellow developed vinosity on the nose with red berry, a pinch of cinnamon and clove and a trace of minty herb. Raspberry and blackberry flavours are backed up by firm tannic grip, appetizing acidity and a lick of dark chocolate on the finish.
