Nestlé Voluntarily Recalls Espresso

By / Food / May 20th, 2010 / 1

I thought all of you should know this: Nestlé Canada is voluntarily recalling Espresso, their specialty instant coffee in the distinctive 100g black glass jar from the Canadian marketplace. No otherNestlé coffees in Canada are affected.

Apparently, some of these jars may be susceptible to breaking during delivery and consequently, may contain small pieces of glass. Yikes! Check your pantry. If you typically have bought this item, contact Nestlé’s Consumer Services at 1-800-387-4636 for reimbursement. By all reports, there have only been three consumer complaints, no injuries involved; but, that’s three too many. Kudos to Nestlé for dealing proactively with this issue.
