If you are thinking about juicing, a healthy lifestyle is probably one of your priorities. Eating the recommended amount of fruits and veggies can be daunting if you are tight on time but of utmost importance in maintaining optimal health. The solution – juicing. Many parents have also discovered that juicing is a great way to get all those green veggies into their picky eaters.

The Omega J8006 Juicer goes above and beyond its primary function – it is an overall, top-quality kitchen appliance.

Juicing

The low speed masticating system squeezes (not grinds) fruits, veggies, leafy greens, wheat grass, etc. This produces better tasting juices with more nutrients and antioxidants.

The J8006 is a dual stage juicer; it extracts juice from crushing the produce and then, before the pulp is ejected, it squeezes it to obtain the maximum amount of juice possible.

The low speed system limits foam and thus, oxidation.

Juices can be kept refrigerated for up to 72hours.

Other Functions

The food processor attachment makes all-natural baby food and can mince herbs, garlic, onions, etc.

The included pasta nozzle extrudes bread sticks, linguini and spaghetti.

It can grind coffee beans and spices.

The homogenizer attachment makes all-natural nut butters, frozen desserts and smother consistency baby foods.

Our Overall Opinion

The Omega J8006 Juicer is a great buy. It’s quiet, a bonus if operating when the baby is asleep or in the early morning hours.  Retailing at about $275 CDN, it’s reasonably priced compared to other juicers. The chrome and black design is aesthetically pleasing and would fit perfectly in any modern kitchen. It comes with a 15 year warranty and most importantly, if you get over the juicing fad, you still have a great multi-functioning appliance.
