Digital Scrapbooking – Top 5 Apps

By / Food / February 25th, 2014 / 8

Scrapbooking is like a sticker book for adults. Printing the photos, gluing and sticking all the pieces together, and even finding the right backgrounds can be a challenge. The digital age comes to the rescue with apps for the iPad and Tablets that let you scrapbook without gluing your fingers together.

ScrapPad

iPad – $4.99
This handy little app will let you create unlimited albums with unlimited pages. There are over 20 themed kits, with an average 100 elements each. When you’ve completed your book, you can share the albums on Facebook or by email, or print it professionally with Printzel.

Martha Stewart CraftStudio

iPad – Free
Martha’s CraftStudio app isn’t just for scrapbooking – it’s for anything to do with craft paper. Create cards, invitations, scrapbook pages and more… for free. The only downside is the limited sets of themes – four – that come with the main app; all other themes are in app purchases.

Skrappy

iPad – $2.99
The ideal app for the full-album enthusiast. This also has a limited selection of themed backgrounds and images, but it allows for downloads, so you can mix and match to your tastes online.

Scrapbook

BlackBerry Playbook – Free
Yes, an app for the playbook! When Scrapbook first came out, it was touted as amazing and easy to use. With the consistent updates to match the 10 software line, it hasn’t disappointed – everything from the clothesline feature to the drag, drop, rotate and resize interface is perfect.

Everybody! Scrapbooking

Android – Free
A social app designed for sharing via Facebook and email. Luckily, it has a password function so that you can protect the scrapbooks you love. The free version comes with limited capabilities, but it’s worth a try to test it out. There are also “extensions” for this app… one makes stickers!
