As a child, my favourite meal was pancakes and bacon. In fact, I could take or leave the pancakes – it was the bacon smothered in maple syrup that I adored. Once, every so often, my father would make us breakfast for supper – we were the happiest kids on the block! I think it was those special family meals that solidified my love affair with for the sweet and salty combo. I’m not the only one.
