5 culinary gems in Regina #musttry
When you’re in a province with over 50,000 farms, it’s almost impossible not to cook with fresh ingredients. Regina may be the province’s capital, but don’t be surprised if most of your food comes from the local farms in the surrounding area. If you know where to look, you’ll find that Regina is filled with hidden culinary gems.
Here are five of the best restaurants in Saskatchewan’s capital.
Hunter Gatherer Vegetarian Diner
Hunter Gatherer offers a completely vegetarian menu and self-describes as a rustic Ma & Pa vegetarian diner. Their menu includes everything you’d expect at a diner including eggs, milkshakes, root beer floats and burgers (vegetarian, of course).

Caraway Grill
If you’re looking for the best Indian food in Regina, look no further. As soon as you walk in, expect to be hit with the aroma of a myriad of spices. The owner, Parveen Singh, opened the restaurant in 2013 with a handpicked group of chefs who focus on the details of every dish. You can expect to spend less than $50 for two people, so even if you’re on a budget, you can enjoy a night out.

Fresh and Sweet
If you’re looking for somewhere, well, fresh and sweet, try Fresh and Sweet. It’s among the best spots in the city to stop for brunch. You can also take a quick stroll through Victoria Park to visit the sister restaurant, Fresh on Hamilton for lunch.
