The Mambo Italiano Cocktail

This cocktail is the result of a sweltering July day and extreme thirst that water just couldn’t slake. So, what to do? Raiding the fridge proved nearly futile. There was nothing in there but the aforementioned water and milk. Hmmm, wait a minute … pushed to the back of the fridge was a just opened carton of juice – Oasis Orange, Raspberry and Passionfruit juice, to be specific. Tart and slightly sweet at the same time, I thought those flavours would go very well with a hit of Campari, so I gave it a go. You know what? You should, too. It turned out to be a perfectly balanced and refreshing drink on such a hot day.

#ThirstyThursday: Mambo Italiano Cocktail
- 2/3 cup Oasis Orange, Raspberry and Passionfruit juice
- 1/3 cup Campari
- Sprig of mint or orange slice
- Fill a tall glass with ice. Add juice and Campari. Garnish with mint or a slice of orange.
