Stratus Red Icewine

By / Wine + Drinks / November 24th, 2010 / 1

I find a lot of Icewines too sweet for my taste; but in general terms, red Icewines tend to be less confected than whites. This is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The bouquet is concentrated raspberries and rhubarb and on the palate it’s semi-sweet with racy acidity and flavours of cranberry and pomegranate that linger in the mouth.
