Hinterbrook 2010 Cabernet Franc
Michael’s back with another review of a wine that you might want to consider adding to your cellar. Hinterbrook Winery is located in Niagara and sits on historic property – the land was first settled in 1789 by United Empire Loyalists. In 1963, the Nickel family purchased it and began growing an array of fruit and vegetables – grapes, peaches, plums, pears, cherries and peas. Always looking to the future, the Nickels began planting Vinifera grapes, and by 2009 the family had decided to establish a winery.
