#FridayCocktail – Wedding Bells, The Groom

By / Wine + Drinks / April 25th, 2014 / 3

After my future sister-in-law and I tinkered at her signature cocktail, in preparation for her upcoming nuptials, my brother was eager to create his own signature drink. Of Irish descent and having worked in the bar scene himself for many years, he was pretty confident that his whiskey-based cocktail would trump his bride’s creation. I have tasted both and remain on neutral ground. What I can say is that her elegant yet edgy white cosmo and his slightly less sophisticated yet still cool ginger-whisky tipple are perfect reflections of who they each are. And, that was the point.

Cheers to my little brother and his bride!

Ice
