Friday Cocktail: White After Labour Day

Maybe we shouldn’t wear white after Labour Day but we can certainly drink white! Enjoy the last weeks of summer sun with one of these refreshing, clear cocktails in hand.

White Cosmo

Ingredients

½ ounce Cointreau

1 lime – ½ ounce fresh lime juice and lime slice for garnish

1 ounce of vodka

2 ounces of white cranberry juice

Ice

Preparation

Add all ingredients, including ice, to a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass (martini glass). Garnish with a slice of lime.

White Rum Highball

Ingredients

1 ounce of white rum

½ ounce of Cointreau or Triple Sec

Dash of fresh lemon juice

Club soda

Orange Slice

Ice

Preparation

Fill a highball glass with ice. In a cocktail shaker, combine rum, Cointreau and lemon juice. Shake and strain into glass. Top the glass off with club soda and garnish with a slice of orange.
