DeAngelis Rosso Piceno DOC

By / Wine + Drinks / February 7th, 2010 / 2

The Italian press refers to this wine as “a consumer’s dream” because of its great quality to price ratio A blend of Sangiovese and Montepulciano, the wine shows intense aromas of cherries with a touch of earthiness, soft and juicy on the palate, very fruit driven with a pleasant smokiness, tons of fresh ripe cherry flavours and a velvety, refreshing finish. Great richness and depth for a wine of this price. A fantastic match with grilled sausages, grilled meat of any kind (so a great BBQ wine), cold cuts, and pasta with meat or tomato sauces.
