Bond – Turned Upside Down

By / Wine + Drinks / September 11th, 2013 / 1

Well, there won’t be a James Bond film playing at TIFF. But, there’s no reason why we can’t drink a toast to him and all the other larger-than-life characters populating the films screening at TIFF this year. Since there won’t be a Bond flick, we can’t stir up a Vesper, can we. That just wouldn’t be right. How about we shake things up a little instead? Turn a Vesper on its head and you’ve suddenly arrived at something sexy, exciting and whimsical. Ok, I’m not sure if James has ever been described as whimsical. That’s ok. This cocktail, called Snowfall, can totally relate to that depiction. Without further ado, here it is…

Snowfall

2 oz Lillet White
1 oz Apple vodka
1/2 oz London gin

Place a good amount of ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake and pour into a chilled Martini glass. Build a snowman out of cocktail onions, sit back and see the snow fall.
