Lots of polish to this Chardonnay, which clocks in at 12.5% alcohol. Smoke, hazelnut, peach, sweet apple, pear and anise are all found in the glass. Mid-weight; the palate is restrained, with vibrant acidity, a slight creaminess as well as mineral-driven aftertaste. Seared scallops or cracked crab would be perfect with this wine.
