Lovely, refreshing aromas of white flowers, peach and citrus with focused flavours, a lively minerality and hint of saltiness. Elegantly penetrating and fresh with crisp acidity on the finish. Ideal with oysters and shellfish.
Attractive floral, clean citrus and tropical fruit on the nose with citrus, yellow pear and tropical fruits playing through on the palate. Finishes with a touch of gravelly mineral and crisp, refreshing acidity. Solid, ever-reliable value.
A well-priced claret from a great vintage. Dense purple-black in colour with a cedary bouquet of blackcurrants with oak notes; medium-bodied, dry with a savoury blackcurrant flavour; firmly structured. Ready for drinking now but will cellar for a decade.
A bargain-priced Beaujolais. Pale ruby colour with a nose of cherries; light on the palate, fresh and fruity with a sour cherry flavour. Best drinking chilled or at room temperature.
Elegant and round with rich, mouth-filling bubbles, lovely soft texture, flavours of apple, almond and citrus; bright and fresh with great balance and soft acidity on the lifted finish. A tremendous-value sparkling wine that is versatile enough to serve with a range of hors d’oeuvres and snacks, to enjoy on its own or to toast any occasion.
Ancient landslides and earthquakes yielded both the name “Landslide” and the three distinct sections that make up the vineyard. This is a very pretty wine indeed, with bright aromatics laced with dark plum, cassis, cedar, mild tobacco, with some floral/herbal nuances. Fresh, ripe black cherry, blackberry, some toasty new oak nuances and a grind of pepper on the long, supple finish. Perfectly balanced, this wine is approachable but should develop further with mid-term cellaring.
Refined dark fruit and fine spice on the nose shows developed vinosity. Red currant and dark berry-fruit flavours are seamlessly melded with fine spice and integrated oak, rounded out harmoniously with a light splash of dark chocolate. Polished, well-made wine.
