This is South Africa’s most popular Sauvignon Blanc under a new package. It has a nose of melon, tropical fruits, acacia and herbs. It’s balanced on the palate, a friendly white, with an array of apple, melon, pear and guava with refreshing acidity. Enjoyable doesn’t have to be expensive.
Complex with aromas and flavours of cherry, earth, toasted oak; full-bodied, elegant tannins, with notes of vanilla, coffee and spice and a supple finish. Has aged well.
Spicy Gewürztraminer (35%), lively Riesling (29%) and textured Pinot Blanc (17%) dominate this Alsatian-inspired blend (with Pinot Auxerrois, Schoenberger and Muscat). Fragrant elderflower, guava, clove and lime aromas and flavours. The warmer year adds a bit more weight compared to the recent string of cooler vintages. Pair with Asian fare.
Cherry cola, plum, herbs, vanilla, cocoa, liquorice and herbs work together on a medium-plus body. There is a lingering personality and firm tannins. Perfect for the summer barbecue season!
Floral and fresh with an abundance of strawberry, roses and cherry aromas and flavours, finishing fruity, but dry. A blend of 79% Grenache and 21% Viognier. Perfect with smoked salmon and crab dip.
