A nose of spicy raspberry, pepper, cherry, cedar, red liquorice and plums. It turns savoury on the palate with bold red fruits, cracked black pepper and a vibrant finish. Barbecue wine.
This wine possesses a left bank nose of pencil shavings, smoke, tobacco/herbs, cassis, vanilla, roasted morello cherry and plums. It is full bodied, ripe, concentrated and elegant with superb length and tannins to allow for 15 years of graceful aging. It is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.
Durif, or Petite Sirah, really makes this wine and gives it life: mocha, blackberry and black cherry with blueberry skin, violets and pepper in there for good measure.
Expressive and well-balanced with raspberry, citrus and herbal notes, bright acidity and a lively mouth-watering finish. Perfect to serve with salumi and ideal with cotechino.
The Moschofilero grape is sourced from Peloponnese vineyards at 650-foot altitude. Delightfully fragrant, deliciously refreshing and highly quaffable at 11% alcohol. Effusive floral and spice aromas. Crisp citrus and melon flavours on a light-bodied palate. Tasty with Greek salad, fish tacos or on-its-own.
A sudden Thanksgiving frost shortened the ripening, leading to a leaner-style vintage. Coffee bean, tobacco leaf and cedar aromas strike the nose. Olive, leather, roasted peppers and prune imbue a slightly astringent palate. Dried sage and cocoa pervade the peppery finish. Match with barbecued meats.
Opens with blackberry, background raspberry and peppery spice on the nose. Dark berry flavours come wrapped in solid tannic structure with stony mineral and a splash of dark chocolate.
