This richly styled rose-coloured rosé serves up generous floral, red berry and black plum, and the tug of some light tannins too. Sourced from their Oliver estate and nearby vineyards, it includes mouthwatering 10% Pinot Gris. Well suited to a hamburger, roast beef sandwich or steak salad.
Put this red in a carafe for a half-hour and then experience a complex mix of coffee, pepper, earth, blackcurrant, plum, leather, game, vanilla. Mid-weight and ready to go with rosemary and garlic rack of lamb.
This rich golden-hued cider crafted on Gabriola Island in British Columbia changes every year based on the orchard's apple crop. The 2017 version has aromas of young cantaloupe, Queen Anne’s Lace and wet stone. This off-dry sparkling cider has a medium body and firm tannins with flavours of Granny Smith apple skins and mint. Made with old-world cider apples, it’s both fresh and complex. Try the 2018 version at the cidery.
10% of Merlot is added to this delicious Sangiovese. Deep ruby in colour, it offers a nose of cherries, chocolate and mint carried on vanilla oak. With a little air the floral aspect emerges. A very elegant, firmly structured wine, dry and satisfying but needs time.
Medium ruby. Light perfumed nose of small red fruits, subtle oak notes, tea leaves and a hint of cooked vegetables. These 2 last aromas are a sign of early evolution. Medium body, expansive and filling mid-palate, smooth texture, lively acidity. Nice long finish. Very satisfying right now but limited aging potential.
Old-school Rioja all the way with dried fruit, leather, tomato paste, herbs, cedar and cured meats. Mid-weight, fresh acid and easy-going tannins complete the package. Lamb skewers would be perfect!
Deep purple in colour. Cedary, lightly floral, spicy nose of plum. Medium bodied, dry, slightly sweet and jammy with plum and blackberry flavours.
