This new appellation requires a minimum 85% Gamay from Beaujolais Cru vineyards (Chénas and Régnié in this inaugural release) and maximum 15% Burgundy Pinot Noir. Abundant cassis, raspberry, plum and cherry. Fresh acidity balanced by lithe tannins. Lingering savouriness on the thirst-quenching finish. Delightful with charcuterie and cheese.
