Almost water-white in colour but don’t be fooled by its lack of depth. With grassy, green herbs, lime on the nose with a light floral note, it fairly explodes with vibrant green fruits on the palate; light to medium-bodied, it’s crisply dry, beautifully balanced with a lovely mouth-feel and good length. Highly recommended.
Such great focus and balance between elegance, penetrating flavours and underlying structure with loads of juicy black cherry and plum, liquorice and spice, plush texture, firm backbone, slightly chalky and a deliciously long and lingering fresh and lively finish. Hard to stop drinking and an incredibly versatile food wine.
Ripe citrus and vanilla notes introduce similar flavours on the mid-palate with a lick of butterscotch and vaguely honeyed character, finishing with refreshing crispness.
Quintessential Marlborough Sauvignon. Pale straw in colour with a grassy gooseberry and green plum nose; medium-bodied, crisply dry, bright and elegant, passion fruit and lime flavours.
If, like me, you’re a fan of Sauvignon Blanc, you’re going to like this one. Straw-coloured, this refreshing wine has a nose of rhubarb and grapefruit. Medium-bodied and dry, flavours of tart gooseberry and lime fill the palate and linger for an unconscionably long time.
Clear, medium-deep plum red. Fairly intense nose of raspberry and violets, with some oak. Light-bodied, tastes of sour-cherry candy. Will last another year.
Pale straw colour with a green tint. Grassy, elderberry and green plum bouquet. Medium-bodied and crisply dry. Gooseberry and grapefruit flavours with lively acidity.
