Delicate floral blossom and fresh apple scents with subtle background mineral. Tingling sappy fresh flavour resembles a Macintosh apple, with gentle mineral notes and a slight touch of sweetness. Mosel finesse at a very modest price.
Gewürztraminer is one of those wines you either love or hate. I happen to love it. The nose is all lychees, rose petals and grapefruit rind. It’s medium bodied with sweet lychee and grapefruit flavours that sustain well on the palate. Serve it as an aperitif or match it with Thai dishes or light curries.
If you’re a Gewürz fan, don’t miss this one. Neon yellow in colour with a green tint, it has a nose of concentrated lychee and rose petal. Full bodied with an intense cardamom and orange flavour with a smoky note. Very exotic with great length.
A wine to drink on your knees. Medium straw in colour with a hint of lime, a nose of honey and peach and citrus fruits with an amazing balance between medium sweet fruit and zesty acidity. Just a joy.
From one of the most prized vineyards of Mosel, and from a top vintage, comes this elegant Riesling. Not as powerful as some, the quality and length are still undeniable, with mineral, lime, peach, honey and petrol all present in the mix. Drink it now if you enjoy the fruit, or age for up to 12 years if you enjoy the mature qualities of a solid Mosel.
Surprisingly elegant varietal bouquet reveals delicate rose petal perfume and a pinch of white pepper. Characteristic apricot flavour is appealingly light with gentle smoothness and unobtrusive acidity. Sterling value.
Rather shy scents of fresh apple and mineral, though more forthcoming on the palate with lightly sweet, ripe, apple flavour, pleasantly refreshing acidity and a touch of mineral grip. Undemanding and very easy drinking.
