A friendly nose of plum, currants, mocha, blackberry, black pepper and sweet oak spice. It’s delicious in the mouth with forward dark fruits, a touch of cherry-raspberry and mint with soft tannins and bright acidity. Pair it with chili or lamb.
Developed red berry fruit, delicate background spice and a whiff of fine oak on the nose with robust raspberry and blackberry flavours on the palate. Solidly structured, with ripe blackberry resurgent on the well-integrated and deftly oaked finish.
A blend of McLaren Vale and Clare Valley fruit, this is a finely toned and complex Shiraz with bold aromatics of smoky blackberry, blueberry, kirsch, liquorice, eucalypt and cracked peppercorns. The juicy black fruits on the palate are joined by tar, liquorice, sweet oak spice, mint and pepper notes that are carried on a bed of fine tannins through a long finish. Did someone say lamb?
The 2010 is the first vintage to use the new eco-friendly lightweight glass. Smooth and easy to drink, this venerable offering doles out dark fruits, violets, spice and cocoa. There is medium length and it is ready to drink.
Dense purple colour with a spicy blackberry nose; medium- to full-bodied, richly extracted blackberry and dark chocolate flavours laced with lively acidity and mellow tannins.
The purple/red colour leads into plums, blackberries, vanilla, cocoa powder and brief hints of mint. It is full-bodied but not overt, thanks to the fact the grapes were sourced from the cool regions of Robe and Mount Benson, in the southern Limestone Coast GI. The acid is fresh, the length is excellent and the tannins are supple. Drink it over the next 5 years.
A blend nearly evenly split between Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose shows blackberries, currants, raspberry and minty spices. It’s smooth on the palate, with an array of dark fruits and balanced spice to go with a touch of eucalyptus. Try with prime rib.
