Approachable and fresh, with bright blackcurrant, plum and mocha flavours, plush tannins and a round, elegant, concentrated finish. The grapes are all from Luján de Cuyo. Perfect for grilled wild boar chops or a NY striploin.
Dark ruby. Black fruits with some oak notes. Full-bodied, with a velvety mouthfeel. Tannins are tender, wrapped in rich fruity extract. Ready to drink.
Medium-deep gold colour. Tempting nose of baked, spiced Spartan apple, papaya and a hint of banana. Guava flavours continue the tropical theme in the mouth, with added rich green apple and a bit of lemon for tartness. Full-bodied and ready to drink.
Fresh floral citrus and melon on the nose with juicy ripe citrus and stone fruit in the mouth. Crisp acidity, mineral and good overall balance round out the picture.
Another good Argentinian Malbec showing warm scents of ripe red berry fruit, a pinch of cinnamon, clove and a dash of vanilla. Lightly sweet berry fruit is smoothly laced with milk chocolate and an agreeable mocha note on the finish.
Classic Malbec at a great price with an earthy-brambly nose to go with ripe blackberry, red fruits, blueberry and an array of supporting spices. Like all good Malbecs, it’s soft, warm and inviting on the palate with broad flavours, soft tannins and bold fruits that linger on the finish. Comfort wine.
Integrated red fruit, spice and subtle oak aromatics with piquant redcurrant fruit and a splash of chocolate, firm dry tannins and well-integrated fruit, spice and tannic grip on the palate. A well-structured, approachable wine with some complexity.
