2 oz plum brandy
1 tsp demerara sugar
2 ozboiling water
Heat in a small saucepan, dissolving sugar. Serve in a heat-proof cup when hot.
2/3 oz DeKuyper(R) wild strawberry liqueur
1/3 oz Finlandia(R) cranberry vodka
1/3 oz Soho(R) lychee liqueur
1 1/3 oz apple juice
12 oz Schweppes(R) Russian tonic water
Pour DeKuyper wild strawberry liqueur, Finlandia cranberry vodka, Soho liqueur and apple juice into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, and strain into a hurricane glass. Fill with Schweppes Russian. Garnish with a stick of cucumber, a maraschino cherry, a slice of lemon and pineapple leaves.
1 1/2 oz Stoli(R) Pertsovka vodka
1/2 oz dry vermouth
Pour the Stoli pepper vodka (Pertsovka) and dry vermouth into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, and pour into an old-fashioned glass over several ice cubes. Garnish with an olive, and serve.
1 oz elderflower cordial
1 oz Bombay Sapphire(R) gin
1 oz Cinzano(R) dry vermouth
1/2 oz lime juice
Elderflower is a traditional flavour of Scandinavian summer.Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake until very chilled; serve immediately.
1 oz vodka
2 oz ginger ale
6 oz orange juice
1 splash passion-fruit nectar
In a cocktail shaker, combine orange juice, vodka and nectar. Pour over ice and gently stir in ginger ale. Add twist of lime and serve.
1 part Advocaat
1 part Creme de Cacao
Fill with 7-Up
1/4 fill the glass with crushed ice, making sure you glass is cold so the ice does not melt too much. Pour the Creme de Cacao over the ice, followed by the Advocaat. Slowly add the soda, but be careful, it can fizz up over the glass. Stir.
1 oz 1800(R) Silver Tequila
1/2 oz orange liqueur
2 oz cranberry juice
1/2 ozfresh lime juice
In a tall mixing glass filled with ice add 1800(R) Silver Tequila and all ingredients. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a slice of lime
1 1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz peach schnapps
3 oz pineapple juice
Build on ice in a highball glass, and serve.
2 oz Windsor(R) Canadian whisky
1 oz Sauza(R) blanco tequila
1 oz DeKuyper(R) triple sec
4 oz orange juice
1 splash grenadine syrup
A recipe with quite a bit of bite, found in a 1975 issue of Playboy magazine. Miami Sunset tastes like a Tequila Sunrise with more kick.Pour ingredients together on the rocks in an old-fashioned glass. Mix with a stirring stick, and garnish with a slice of orange.
3/4 oz vodka
3/4 oz Midori(R) melon liqueur
1/4 oz Crown Royal(R) Canadian whisky
1/2 oz triple sec
sweet and sour mix
Pour the vodka, Midori melon liqueur, Crown Royal whisky and triple sec into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Add sweet and sour mix to taste. Shake well. Strain into a highball glass, garnish with a cherry flag, and serve.
