The Top 15 Canadian Cities

By / Food / July 23rd, 2010 / 1

Here’s another travel tip. Hotel.info has just released the results of a customer survey about which Canadian cities offer the best hotels at the best price. Although it’s certainly true that we get what we pay for, sometimes we end up paying a whole lot and receive only a mediocre experience. Other times, it’s the opposite. Even if the stay was quite pleasant, in assessing the price paid for their accommodation, many guests ultimately gave a critical review of their personal experience at the hotel. They were asked if the room was truly a bargain, or if the offer could really have been less expensive?

Hotel.info is a free hotel reservation site that includes thousands of hotels worldwide. They evaluated reviews submitted by booking customers in terms of value for money. Which cities’ hotel operators offered good service at a fair price, and where were the impressions less favourable? The investigation focused on experiences of guests who had stayed in three and four-star hotels.

Here are the top 15 best-rated Canadian cities (1-best, 15-worst). Notice how in just one year, some of the cities have changed their positions on the list. And Banff is the the worst of the bunch? Being a fairly luxurious resort town, I was certain that they would have consistent, great service down pat.
