An Easter Table
The table is the focal point of Easter dinner – family and friends gather to enjoy a delicious meal. Make your table unique this year with these ideas to spark your table-setting mojo.
Egg White
Simple and easy, all you need are a carton or five of eggs, white tulips and some large glass vases. Use a clean, white table cloth or runner. Fill the vases with hard-boiled eggs and fill with the white tulips. For the place settings, put white napkins on the plates, topping it off with an egg that has a tulip in it.
Colourful Pastels
When I think about Easter, I picture pastels – light pinks, yellows, greens and blues. Use these for your center pieces with flowers and dyed eggs. Place a tall clear drinking glass in the center of a large vase. Fill the glass with water and arranged flowers (roses, gerbera daisies, tulips, hyacinth and bells of Ireland). Stack the dyed eggs between the glass and the jar for a visually stunning center piece.
Flowers & Coral
Flowers are the physical embodiment of spring, which make them great for your Easter table decor. Place floral-patterned china on a placemat that is one of the colours from the plate. Include a tinted drinking glass. Tie a ribbon loosely around a white, cloth napkin. As the finishing touch, add a painted Easter egg to the plate.
Dazzling Daffodils
In most of Europe, Daffodils are the traditional Easter flower, taking the floral decor one step closer to perfection. For each place setting, put a green napkin, folded into quarters, and a daffodil blossom in a wide glass. Pull the corners of the napkin down to look like leaves. Complement each setting with a green table runner or a light blue table cloth.
