Vina Leyda Chardonnay ‘Falaris Single Vineyard’

By / Wine + Drinks / November 24th, 2010 / 1

100% barrel fermented in French oak, but then 100% sulphated to avoid malolactic fermentation to retain the natural acidity and freshness of the wine. Rich flavours of baked apple with hints of bacon fat, great balance and a creamy, complex texture finishing with a refreshing minerality. A great wine for lobster, scallops, or meaty white fish.
