Torres Gran Coronas Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva

By / Wine + Drinks / January 13th, 2010 / 1

Packs a good punch and is a solid value for under $20. The deep cherry colour leads into an aromatic mix of spiced plums, cassis, ground espresso beans, roasted herbs and vanilla. There is some heat on the finish, which combined with the tannin signals that this wine should be held until 2010 and drunk until 2014. Try it this winter with a slow braised beef brisket.
