By / Wine + Drinks / August 14th, 2013 / 1

August may be almost over, but don’t let that put a stop to your enjoyment of the summer. Soon, we’ll be donning hats and mittens. These four wines are light and flavourful, and will have you feeling that summer will never end. Enjoy!

Casa Marin Sauvignon Blanc ‘Laurel’

Full with ripe grapefruit and tropical fruit notes and hints lemon and tangerine. Rich and very lively on the long finish.

Garces Silva Amayna Sauvignon Blanc

Very clean and fresh, with bracing zesty lemon peel, citrus, and asparagus with a clean, sharp acidity and salty finish. Deliciously refreshing.

Garces Silva Amayna Chardonnay

Very stylish, with spiced apple pie, pear, and a hint of toasted nuts with a rich mouthfeel, great balance and freshness and hints of tropical fruit and acidity on the fresh finish. Great with chicken, grilled pork, or grilled seafood.
