Pio Cesare Fides Barbera d’Alba DOC

By / Wine + Drinks / December 9th, 2009 / 2

A single vineyard wine from the Colombaro vineyard, aged in French oak casks (80% barriques) for 20 months. Broadly similar to the Pio Cesare Barbera d’Alba DOC 2006, but with a more subtle bouquet and greater depth of flavour. Needs time to develop.
