Pio Cesare Barolo Ornato DOCG

By / Wine + Drinks / December 8th, 2009 / 1

Pio Cesare’s top wine from the Ornato Estate is aged for 3 years in French oak. The House style is readily apparent, with subtle scents of violets, dark cherry and plum. Great depth of flavour and richness on the palate, but this complex wine is still evolving. A great wine deserving another 5 to 7 years in the cellar.
