Pio Cesare Barolo ‘Ornato’ DOCG

By / Wine + Drinks / December 9th, 2009 / 2

Power and elegance combine in this dark, rich, beautifully perfumed and balanced wine. Firm, ripe tannins, full body, exciting violet, blackberry, mint, smoke, vanilla, and tar notes, and a rock-solid but harmonious finish. Very approachable for such a young Barolo, but will continue to evolve over the next 10 years.
