#FridayCocktail – Spanish Coffee

By / Wine + Drinks / March 7th, 2014 / 3

It’s still winter – old news but our unfortunate truth. Light a fire, cook a hearty meal and enjoy a warm Spanish coffee for dessert. Perhaps catch up on some of those Oscar winning and nominated films…

Ingredients

5 ounces of your favourite roasted coffee

1 ounce of dark rum

1 ounce coffee liqueur

2 tablespoons of whipped cream

Raw (cane) sugar

Ground nutmeg

Preparation

Rim a clear glass coffee mug with the raw sugar.

Add rum and coffee liqueur.

Add hot coffee.

Top off with whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground nutmeg.
