#FridayCocktail: A Blue Sky

By / Wine + Drinks / March 21st, 2014 / 1

I hope you enjoy a little bit of blue sky today, wherever you may be. Here, in eastern Canada, we are bracing for ANOTHER snow fall. So, I will make my own blue sky this evening…and wish this winter weather away!

Cheers!

Ingredients

¼ cup of white cranberry juice/cocktail

1 ounce of vodka

1 ounce of blue Curaçao

Ice

Coarse sugar

1 fresh lime

Preparation

Moisten a chilled martini glass with a lime wedge and rim with coarse sugar.

Add cranberry juice, vodka, blue Curaçao and the juice from ½ a lime to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

Shake vigorously and strain into your prepared martini glass.

Garnish with a wedge of lime.
