This bonnet is definitely one you do not want to wear. The result of doing that would be quite unpleasant. Drink it instead. This Easter Bonnet cocktail is a tasty blend of vodka, Campari, guava, lime and sugar. Perfect, don’t you think, to sip while you’re waiting for your guests to arrive. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t have a head start at enjoying the food and drink you’ve worked so hard to prepare. You deserve it.

I haven’t always been a fan of cocktails. Some of those old standards you might have found in a cocktail bible from the 1940s (like the Sidecar or a Gin Sour) are fine, I suppose. But, it seems that the 21st century has revived an interest among mixologists to create cocktails the same way that great chefs create dishes. They keep freshness and quality at the top of their criteria. The result is a fabulous, refreshing combination of flavours.

Today’s offering, the Easter Bonnet, emphasizes the art of mixing a variety of flavours to create a tasty drink. Try it for yourself.
